Post From My Phone

Just a post from my phone real quick this evening.
I've been a little lost this week as far as my work and my planner. I've managed to skate by with basic cleaning, meals, and school with the kids.
Sometimes I guess, as moms, our days will be like that.
Today I got some mopping done and laundry caught up.
I have a couple of household wishes - I need a cabinet for my bathroom stuff (which is currently in an overstuffed basket on the back of the toilet), and a dresser for my kids clothes (the bigger they get the more room they need for clothes).
I'll get to these things eventually. Maybe when I quick spending so much on makeup. Oi vey.
So it's been a good day for me though. Emotionally I've been in a good place. Even though my dad texted me a pretty cutting text yesterday evening. I've prayed and have not dwelt on that. Or responded to it. Not acknowledging it helps I think.
I need to read my Bible more. I had this over zealous hope to read my whole Bible by the end of the year. When you fall behind a day or two on that kind of reading plan it's almost impossible to catch back up!
I think I need to just pray and focus on smaller things. Maybe pull out my old One Year Bible again.
Tomorrow I plan to strip my bed down. And probably my eldest son's too. His hasn't been done in a while. I'll probably make some kind of chicken for dinner. Or broccoli cheese soup (I have broccoli that needs eaten). I'll do school with my kids. Chores. My husband might butcher some rabbits. I need to check what zone I need to be working on this week and knock some of those tasks out.
My husband has a Dr's appointment Thursday. So I'll probably not do school that day. Usually we don't school on Friday. But I'll probably do Friday this week and not Thursday.
My husband has had some issues with asthma and blood pressure lately. I'm praying they can get it sorted out real easy and he can be back to 100% soon.
This weekend we're going Christmas shopping - yes, Christmas shopping. I'm so excited to get some fun stuff for the kids!
